     Houston Stewart Dalrymple-Hay was born on 6 July 1909 at Cowra, New South Wales, Australia.1,2 He was the son of Houston Stewart Dalrymple-Hay and Daisy Annie Davis.3 He married Peggy Fitzmaurice Loftus, daughter of Argyle Charles Charleston Loftus, in 1942 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1,2 He died on 8 February 2010 at age 100.4
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Australian Imperial Force.1
