     He was educated at Birkenhead School, Birkenhead, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He was an engineer.¹

     Emmeline Barcroft was the daughter of William Greer Barcroft and Ellen Park.¹ She died on 22 August 1955, unmarried.¹

     Jonathan Hogg Barcroft was born in October 1842.¹ He was the son of John Pim Barcroft and Anna Malcomson.¹ He married Margaret Pike, daughter of Richard Pike, in 1869.¹ He died on 18 May 1897 at age 54.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Grange Lodge, Tyrone, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Pike was the daughter of Richard Pike.¹ She married Jonathan Hogg Barcroft, son of John Pim Barcroft and Anna Malcomson, in 1869.¹ She died on 7 September 1908.¹
     From 1869, her married name became Barcroft.¹

     Richard Pike lived at Beech Grove, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Richard Cecil Barcroft was born on 4 March 1871.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Hogg Barcroft and Margaret Pike.¹ He married Marion Olive Mesham, daughter of Charles Mesham, on 22 December 1898.¹ He died on 25 December 1924 at age 53.¹
     He was educated at Royal School, Dunngannon, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹ He was educated at Foyle College, Duncreggan, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Law (B.L.)¹ He fought in the First World War, attached to the Staff of the Dublin Military Command as a Lands Compensation Officer.¹ He was a practising Barrister-at-law.¹ He lived at Shandon, Clontarf, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Marion Olive Mesham was the daughter of Charles Mesham.¹ She married Richard Cecil Barcroft, son of Jonathan Hogg Barcroft and Margaret Pike, on 22 December 1898.¹ She died on 5 April 1966.¹
     From 22 December 1898, her married name became Barcroft.¹

     Charles Mesham was in the service of the 66th Regiment.¹

     Captain Cecil Leonard Barcroft was born on 31 August 1900.¹ He was the son of Richard Cecil Barcroft and Marion Olive Mesham.¹ He married Vida Geraldine Ashworth, daughter of Charles Ashworth, on 5 December 1929.¹ He died on 26 May 1985 at age 84 at Clonskeagh, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.²
     Captain Cecil Leonard Barcroft usually went by his middle name of Leonard.¹ He was educated at St. Columba’s^G.¹ He retired from the military in 1931, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Marines.¹ He was the Secretary / Manager of the Warrenspoint Golf Club between 1932 and 1944.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Coastguard Service.¹ Between 1944 and 1968 Captain Cecil Leonard Barcroft was the Bursar of Royal School, Dunngannon, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹ As of 1976, Captain Cecil Leonard Barcroft lived at 59 Whitethorn Road, Clonskeagh, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
