     Laurence Brunton was born on 1 July 1892 at Nelson, Lancashire, England^G.² He married Mary Alma Jackson in 1915 at Woollahra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.² He died on 4 July 1918 at age 26 at Hamel, France^G, killed in action.²
