     Jean Penelope Bruce-Gardyne was born in 1936.¹ She was the daughter of Ian Meredith Bruce-Gardyne and Christine Annora Penelope Lee.¹ She died on 9 January 2019.¹

     Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier is the daughter of Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala and Florence Martha Perceval.² She married James Robert Bargrave Armstrong, son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader, on 22 February 1930.¹ She died on 14 September 1986.³
     From 22 February 1930, her married name became Armstrong.¹

     Edward Herbert Scott Napier, 4th Baron Napier of Magdala was born on 16 December 1861.² He was the son of Field Marshal Robert Cornelis Napier, 1st Baron Napier of Magdala and Mary Cecilia Scott.³ He married Florence Martha Perceval, daughter of General John Maxwell Perceval, on 11 July 1900.² He died on 20 July 1948 at age 86.³
     He was educated at Cooper’s Hill Engineering College.² He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)³ He was with the Indian State Railways.³ He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of officer in the East Yorkshire Volunteers and Admiralty.² He succeeded as the 4th Baron Napier of Magdala, in Abyssinia and of Caryngton, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K., 1868] on 2 May 1935.²

     Henry Napier Armstrong was born on 28 February 1936.² He is the son of James Robert Bargrave Armstrong and Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier.¹ He married Rosmarie Alice White, daughter of Harold Ducket White, on 25 February 1967.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers (Territorial Army.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1961 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and Tanzania.¹ As of 1976, Henry Napier Armstrong lived at Ibonia Estate, Kiambu, Kenya^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Fellows Hall, Killylea, County Armagh, Ireland.²

     Rosmarie Alice White is the daughter of Harold Ducket White.¹ She married Henry Napier Armstrong, son of James Robert Bargrave Armstrong and Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier, on 25 February 1967.²
     From 25 February 1967, her married name became Armstrong.¹

     Harold Ducket White was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He lived at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Bruce William Armstrong was born on 18 April 1970.² He is the son of Henry Napier Armstrong and Rosmarie Alice White.¹
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland^G.³ He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (B.Mech.E.)² He was with Clough Engineering at Perth, Western Australia, Australia.²

     Antonia Kathleen Armstrong was born on 7 January 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Henry Napier Armstrong and Rosmarie Alice White.¹
     She was educated at St. Leonard’s School, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G.² She graduated from Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)³

     John Fortescue Armstrong was born on 28 February 1936.¹ He is the son of James Robert Bargrave Armstrong and Hon. Kathleen Marion Napier.¹ He married Chantal de Chazal, daughter of Claude de Chazal and Simone (?), on 4 March 1967.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was registered as a Civil Engineer.¹ He lived at Cawthorpe Hall, Bourne, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹
