Hamilla Montgomerie was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Taylor.2 She married Alexander West Hamilton of Pinmore, son of John Hamilton of Sundrum and Lillias Montgomerie, on 27 January 1816.1,3 She died on 10 March 1852.1

Alexander West Hamilton of Pinmore was born on 12 November 1764.2 He was the son of John Hamilton of Sundrum and Lillias Montgomerie.2 He married, firstly, Mary Ritchie, daughter of James Ritchie of Busbie and Craigton and Katharine Ker, on 4 March 1805.2 He married, secondly, Hamilla Montgomerie, daughter of Alexander Montgomerie and Elizabeth Taylor, on 27 January 1816.1,2 He died on 13 March 1837 at age 72.2
