     Captain Samuel Allen was born on 5 June 1891.¹ He was the son of Samuel Allen and Florence Mary Adair.¹ He died on 2 November 1942 at age 51, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Aldenham School, Elstree, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the RINL Rifles.¹ He lived at Lisconnan, Dervock, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Commander Conway Benning Allen was born on 25 September 1896.¹ He was the son of Samuel Allen and Florence Mary Adair.¹ He married Marjorie Warren, daughter of James Brough Warren, on 4 November 1927.¹ He died on 23 July 1980 at age 83 at Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was appointed Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1943.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He retired from the military in 1945, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.¹ As of 1976, Commander Conway Benning Allen lived at Chyvandowr, St. Martin, Helston, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Marjorie Warren is the daughter of James Brough Warren.¹ She married Commander Conway Benning Allen, son of Samuel Allen and Florence Mary Adair, on 4 November 1927.¹
     From 4 November 1927, her married name became Allen.¹

     James Brough Warren lived at Glensouthwell, Rathfarnham, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Helene Allen was born on 23 February 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Commander Conway Benning Allen and Marjorie Warren.¹ She married Lt.-Cmdr. Dennis Burford, son of Walter Beckwith Burford, on 14 June 1958.¹
     She graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1954 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 14 June 1958, her married name became Burford.¹

     Lt.-Cmdr. Dennis Burford is the son of Walter Beckwith Burford.¹ He married Margaret Helene Allen, daughter of Commander Conway Benning Allen and Marjorie Warren, on 14 June 1958.¹
     As of 1976, Lt.-Cmdr. Dennis Burford lived at Chyvandowr, St. Martin, Helston, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Walter Beckwith Burford lived at Glenmore, Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland^G.¹
