     Josias Bracken Canning Alexander was born on 12 December 1826.1 He was the son of Joseph Josias Du Pré Alexander and Mary Bracken.1 He married Agnes Cecilia Curtis, daughter of Sir William Curtis, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Lear, on 11 January 1848.1 He died in 1882.1

     From 11 January 1848, her married name became Alexander.1

     From 16 August 1816, her married name became Hough.1
