     G./Capt. Richard Vernon Alexander was born in November 1906.¹ He was the son of Stuart Anthony Alexander and Ada Mary Kendall.¹ He married, firstly, Evril Gladys Anne Robarts, daughter of Gerrard Robarts, on 10 December 1932.¹ He married, secondly, Norah Kathleen (?) on 15 July 1971.¹
     He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ As of 1976, G./Capt. Richard Vernon Alexander lived at 11 Wraysbury Gardens, Wraysbury Close, Newlands, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Evril Gladys Anne Robarts was the daughter of Gerrard Robarts.¹ She married G./Capt. Richard Vernon Alexander, son of Stuart Anthony Alexander and Ada Mary Kendall, on 10 December 1932.¹ She died on 30 August 1967 at Nairobi, Kenya^G, Kenya.¹
     From 10 December 1932, her married name became Alexander.¹
