     He was educated at St. Andrew’s College, Grahamstown, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.), Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He was educated at Guy’s Hospital Medical School, London, England^G.¹ He was a medical practitioner at Byfleet, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Helen Oswald Mackinnon was the daughter of Alpine Duncan Mackinnon.¹ She married Paul Creighton Alexander, son of Kenneth Bush Alexander and Jean Creighton, in 1935.¹ She died in 1972.¹
     From 1935, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Alpine Duncan Mackinnon lived at Limpsfield, Surrey, England^G.¹

     John Paul Alexander was born on 4 December 1940.^2,3 He is the son of Paul Creighton Alexander and Helen Oswald Mackinnon.¹ He married Gillian Lewis, daughter of Clive Lewis, on 4 June 1966.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ As of 1976, John Paul Alexander lived at Gravel Pits Farmhouse, Burrows Lane, Gomshall, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Gillian Lewis is the daughter of Clive Lewis.¹ She married John Paul Alexander, son of Paul Creighton Alexander and Helen Oswald Mackinnon, on 4 June 1966.¹
     From 4 June 1966, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Clive Lewis was born circa 1914.³ He died on 23 April 1943, killed in action.³
     He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, Scots Guards.²
