     Hugh Wheeler Beresford was born in 1859 at Hampstead, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Colonel Francis Marcus Beresford and Elizabeth Green.¹ He married Florence Isobel Charleton on 30 April 1885 at St. James’ Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.¹ He died on 31 October 1907 at London, England^G.¹

     Alan Cory-Wright was born on 6 March 1896.¹ He was the son of Sir Arthur Cory Cory-Wright, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Olive Clothier.² He married Leila Yda Cyrilla Lobb, daughter of Arthur Lobb, on 5 July 1923.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy (Emergency List.)¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was severely wounded, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1918.¹ He lived at Hatfield Park, Takeley, Essex, England^G.¹

     Leila Yda Cyrilla Lobb was the daughter of Arthur Lobb.¹ She married Alan Cory-Wright, son of Sir Arthur Cory Cory-Wright, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Olive Clothier, on 5 July 1923.¹ She died in 1982.¹
     From 5 July 1923, her married name became Cory-Wright.

     Godfrey William Cory-Wright was born on 9 April 1928.¹ He was the son of Alan Cory-Wright and Leila Yda Cyrilla Lobb.² He married Nicole Emma Vermeiren, daughter of E. Vermeiren, on 27 December 1958.¹ He died on 25 November 2018 at age 90.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Hatfield Park, Takeley, Essex, England^G.¹
