     She was in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 6 February 1943, her married name became Lyell. She lived in 2003 at Wester Auchleuchrie, Forfar, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Major Andrew Lyell was the son of Colonel David Lyell.² He married Diana Ethel Muriel Donald Cory, daughter of Sir Herbert George Donald Cory, 2nd Bt. and Gertrude Box, on 6 February 1943.¹ He died on 15 February 2005.³
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Dorset Yeomanry.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Sir Richard Michael Cory-Wright, 4th Bt. was born on 17 January 1944.¹ He is the son of Captain Anthony John Julian Cory-Wright and Susan Esterel Elwes.² He married, firstly, Veronica Mary Bolton, daughter of James Harold Lucas Bolton, in 1976.¹ He and Veronica Mary Bolton were divorced in 1994.¹ He married, secondly, Helga Wright Godfrey, daughter of George James Godfrey, on 11 November 1998.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry.¹ He graduated from Birmingham University, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England^G, in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Cory-Wright, of Caen Wood Towers, Highgate St. Pancras, co. London and Hornsey, co. Middlesex [U.K., 1903] on 23 March 1969.¹
