     Lady Mabel Edith Fox-Strangways was born on 17 February 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Giles Stephen Holland Fox-Strangways, 6th Earl of Ilchester and Lady Helen Mary Theresa Vane-Tempest-Stewart.¹ She married Ivor Grosvenor Guest, 2nd Viscount Wimborne, son of Ivor Churchill Guest, 1st Viscount Wimborne and Hon. Alice Katherine Sibell Grosvenor, on 22 November 1938.²
     Lady Mabel Edith Fox-Strangways usually went by her middle name of Edith.¹ Her married name became Guest. After her marriage, Lady Mabel Edith Fox-Strangways was styled as Viscountess Wimborne on 14 June 1939.

     Giles Stephen Holland Fox-Strangways, 6th Earl of Ilchester was born on 31 May 1874.¹ He was the son of Henry Edward Fox-Strangways, 5th Earl of Ilchester and Lady Mary Eleanor Anne Dawson.¹ He married Lady Helen Mary Theresa Vane-Tempest-Stewart, daughter of Charles Stewart Vane-Tempest-Stewart, 6th Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Theresa Susey Helen Chetwynd-Talbot, on 25 January 1902.¹ He died on 29 October 1959 at age 85.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Lord Ilchester, co. Somerset, Baron of Woodford Strangways, co. Dorset [G.B., 1741] on 6 December 1905.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Ilchester [G.B., 1756] on 6 December 1905.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Lord Ilchester and Stavordale, Baron of Redlynch, co. Somerset [G.B., 1747] on 6 December 1905.¹ He gained the rank of GSO(3) in 1914.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He was Trustee of the National Portrait Gallery between 1922 and 1959.¹ He was Trustee of the British Museum between 1931 and 1959.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1950.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset before 1956.¹

     William Paulet, 3rd Marquess of Winchester was born from 1532 to 1533.¹ He was the son of John Paulet, 2nd Marquess of Winchester and Elizabeth Willoughby.¹ He married Hon. Agnes Howard, daughter of William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Effingham and Katherine Broughton, from 20 June 1544 to 10 February 1547/48.² He died on 24 November 1598.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1553.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire from 1560 to 1561.¹ He was a man of letters and a poet.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dorset in 1571.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron St. John [E., 1539] on 5 May 1572, in his father’s lifetime.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire in 1585.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset in February 1585/86.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Marquess of Winchester [E., 1551] on 10 October 1592.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Wiltshire [E., 1550] on 10 October 1592.¹

     Hon. Mary Montagu was the daughter of General Henry Montagu, 6th Baron Rokeby and Magdalen Hurley. She married John Paulet, 14th Marquess of Winchester, son of Charles Ingoldsby Paulet, 13th Marquess of Winchester and Anne Andrews, on 29 November 1855.¹ She died on 6 September 1868.¹
     After her marriage, Hon. Mary Montagu was styled as Marchioness of Winchester on 29 November 1855. From 29 November 1855, her married name became Paulet.

     William Paulet, 4th Marquess of Winchester was the son of William Paulet, 3rd Marquess of Winchester and Hon. Agnes Howard.¹ He married Lady Lucy Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter and Dorothy Neville, on 28 February 1586/87.² He died on 4 February 1628.
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron St. John [E., 1539] on 24 November 1598.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Marquess of Winchester [E., 1551] on 24 November 1598.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Wiltshire [E., 1550] on 24 November 1598.¹ In 1601 he entertained Queen Elizabeth I at Basing for nearly two weeks, an episode so expensive his finances never wholly recovered.¹

     John Frescheville, 1st Baron Frescheville of Stavely is the son of Unknown Frescheville.² He married Sarah Harington, daughter of Sir John Harington, in April 1630.³
     He gained the title of 1st Baron Frescheville of Staveley.³

     Lady Isabella Tufton was the daughter of Thomas Tufton, 6th Earl of Thanet and Lady Catherine Cavendish.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Francis Blake Delaval, son of Francis Blake Delaval and Rhoda Apreece.¹ She married, firstly, Lord Sir Nassau Powlett, son of Charles Powlett, 2nd Duke of Bolton and Henrietta Crofts, in 1731.¹ She died on 10 January 1764.¹
     Her married name became Delaval.¹ From 1731, her married name became Powlett.¹

     Sir Robert Needham married, secondly, Jane Cockayne, daughter of Sir William Cockayne.² He died in 1661.²
     He lived at Lambeth, London, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight.
