Sir Charles Cornwallis was born in 1547 at Brome, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Cornwallis and Anne Jerningham.3 He married, thirdly, Dorothy Vaughan, daughter of Richard Vaughan.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Farnham, daughter of Thomas Farnham, in 1575 at Beeston, Norfolk, England.1,2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Barrow, daughter of Thomas Barrow and Mary Bures, after 9 June 1585.1 He died on 21 December 1629 at Harborne, Suffolk, England.1
He was Envoy to Spain circa 1603.1

Richard Vaughan1 
Richard Vaughan was born in 1550. He was the son of Thomas ap Robert Vaughan.3 He died in 1607.
He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He graduated in 1589 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)3 He held the office of Bishop of Bangor between 1595 and 1597.3 He held the office of Bishop of Chester between 1597 and 1604.3 He held the office of Bishop of London between 1604 and 1607.4
