Richard Gethin Creagh Coote1

     Richard Gethin Creagh Coote was born on 13 June 1797.1 He was the son of Major Eyre Coote and Theodosia Creagh.2 He married Hester Tarrant, daughter of James Tarrant and Jane Fowler, in 1834.1 He died on 19 December 1872 at age 75.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 54th Regiment.1 He fought in the Burma War between 1824 and 1825.1 He lived at Bridge View, Mallow, County Cork, IrelandG.1

     Lt.-Col. Edmund Eyre Coote was born on 3 January 1841.1 He was the son of Richard Gethin Creagh Coote and Hester Tarrant.2 He married Eliza Olivia Gray, daughter of Nicholas Gray, on 17 January 1865.1 He died on 10 May 1907 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 58th Regiment.1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1879 and 1880.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Staff Paymaster in the Army Pay Department.1
