     Mortimer Wilmot Bennitt is the son of Frederick Wilmot Bennitt.¹ He married Cecilia Maud Coote, daughter of Charles Chenevix Coote and Alice Maud Crozier, on 25 March 1950.¹ He and Cecilia Maud Coote were divorced in 1952.¹
     He held the office of Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Works.¹

     Anne Purdon is the daughter of Bartholomew Purdon.¹ She married, firstly, Robert Coote, son of Reverend Chidley Coote and Jane Evans, in February 1730.¹ She married, secondly, William Cole after 1745.¹
     From February 1730, her married name became Coote. From after 1745, her married name became Cole.¹

     Chidley Coote was born in 1735.² He was the son of Robert Coote and Anne Purdon.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Coote, daughter of Charles Coote and Prudence Geering, on 26 October 1756.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Anne Carr, daughter of Reverend Ralph Carr, on 31 August 1790.² He died on 6 June 1799.²
     He lived at Ash Hill, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²

     Bartholomew Purdon-Coote was born in 1736.¹ He was the son of Robert Coote and Anne Purdon.² He married Mary Wrixon, daughter of Henry Wrixon, in April 1762.¹ He died in October 1780.¹
     He was given the name of Bartholomew Coote at birth.¹ He lived at Ballyclough, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He had a son and four daughters.¹

     Mary Wrixon is the daughter of Henry Wrixon.² She married Bartholomew Purdon-Coote, son of Robert Coote and Anne Purdon, in April 1762.¹
     From April 1762, her married name became Coote.

     Reverend Charles Coote was born in 1742.¹ He was the son of Robert Coote and Anne Purdon.² He married Mary (?), daughter of Mary Evatt.¹
     He was the Rector at Kilcully, Ireland^G.¹

     Frederick Wilmot Bennitt lived at Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
