     Captain Donald Lewis Astley Cooper was born on 26 December 1920.¹ He was the son of Colonel Clifton Graham Astley Cooper and Ida Margaret Mary Forbes.² He died on 4 January 1951 at age 30 at Korea^G, killed in action.^1,3
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the K.R.I. Hussars.¹ He gained the rank of Korean War.¹

     Florence Winifred Astley Cooper was the daughter of Major Loftus Lewis Astley Cooper and Florence Louisa Briggs.² She married Colonel William Arthur Travell Bowly, son of Commander J. E. Bowly, on 6 September 1905.¹ She died on 2 February 1962.¹
     From 6 September 1905, her married name became Bowly.

     Colonel William Arthur Travell Bowly was the son of Commander J. E. Bowly.² He married Florence Winifred Astley Cooper, daughter of Major Loftus Lewis Astley Cooper and Florence Louisa Briggs, on 6 September 1905.¹ He died on 24 October 1957.¹

     Gladys Astley Cooper was the daughter of Major Loftus Lewis Astley Cooper and Florence Louisa Briggs.² She married Brigadier Colin Burton, son of Edward P. Burton, on 10 April 1907.¹ She died on 18 November 1937.¹
     From 10 April 1907, her married name became Burton.

     Edward P. Burton lived at East Molesey, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Brigadier Colin Burton was the son of Edward P. Burton.² He married Gladys Astley Cooper, daughter of Major Loftus Lewis Astley Cooper and Florence Louisa Briggs, on 10 April 1907.¹ He died on 4 May 1945.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Army Service Corps.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹
