     Newdigate Poyntz was baptised on 8 November 1608.¹ He was the son of John Poyntz and Anne Sydenham.² He married, firstly, Sarah Foxley, daughter of Francis Foxley.¹ He married, secondly, Ann Forest, daughter of Miles Forest, before 30 January 1636.² He married, thirdly, Mary Parkyns, daughter of Aden Parkyns, on 21 December 1637.² He died on 4 August 1643 at age 34 at Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England^G, killed in action.²
     He fought in the Battle of Gainsborough, for the King.²

     Francis Foxley lived at Harringworth, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Sarah Foxley was the daughter of Francis Foxley.² She married Newdigate Poyntz, son of John Poyntz and Anne Sydenham.¹ She died circa May 1636.¹ She was buried on 31 May 1636.¹
     Her married name became Poyntz.

     Thomas Poyntz was baptised on 12 January 1628/29.¹ He was the son of Newdigate Poyntz and Sarah Foxley.² He married Mary Herington.¹ He died circa March 1677.¹ He was buried on 26 March 1677.¹
     He lived at Benefield, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Herington married Thomas Poyntz, son of Newdigate Poyntz and Sarah Foxley.¹ She died circa March 1664/65.¹ She was buried on 22 March 1664/65.¹
     Her married name became Poyntz.

     Newdigate Poyntz was born in 1648.¹ He was the son of Thomas Poyntz and Mary Herington.² He married Sarah (?) in 1678.¹ He died circa December 1701, without issue.¹ He was buried on 20 December 1701.¹
     He was educated at St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Gray’s Inn in 1678 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹

     Sarah (?) married, firstly, unknown Taverner before 1678.¹ She married, secondly, Newdigate Poyntz, son of Thomas Poyntz and Mary Herington, in 1678.¹ She died in 1706.¹
     From before 1678, her married name became Taverner.¹ From 1678, her married name became Poyntz.

     Thomas Poyntz was baptised on 3 December 1649.¹ He was the son of Thomas Poyntz and Mary Herington.² He married Sarah Lane, daughter of Thomas Lane.¹ He died in 1688.¹
     He lived at Lambeth, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was a merchant.¹

     Thomas Lane lived at London, England^G.¹

     Sarah Lane was the daughter of Thomas Lane.² She married Thomas Poyntz, son of Thomas Poyntz and Mary Herington.¹ She died in 1710.¹
     Her married name became Poyntz.
