Nicholas Fitzpons1

     Nicholas Fitzpons was the son of Pons Fitzsimon and unknown wife (?)2 He married, firstly, Juliana Bardolf, daughter of Hugh Bardolf.1 He married, secondly, Joan (?) before 29 January 1218/19.1 He died in 1223.1
     He was sometime Steward to Gilbert, Earl of Gloucester.1 He held the office of Keeper of Gloucester Castle circa 1197.1 In 1215 He sided with the Barons against King John, for which his and his sons estates were confiscated, but were restored the following year.1
