     Hugh Stapleton Cotton was born in 1885.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Stapleton Cotton and Louisa Jessie Campbell.² He died on 7 October 1957, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.¹

     George Edward Stapleton Cotton was born in 1888.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Stapleton Cotton and Louisa Jessie Campbell.² He married Lillie Price, daughter of William Henry Price, in 1918.¹ He died, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of despatch rider in 1914 in the 1st Canadian Contingent.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917.¹

     Rev. Canon Henry Wilmot Stapleton Cotton was born in 1894.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Stapleton Cotton and Louisa Jessie Campbell.² He married Elaine Christine Isobel Iredale, daughter of Joseph Henry Iredale, on 9 April 1923.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the Cheshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1920 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1923 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was a Chaplain with the Indian Ecclesiastical Establishment between 1925 and 1946.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Lucknow between 1937 and 1947.¹ He was the Rector between 1947 and 1952 at Bredfield, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1949 and 1952 at Debden, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He was the Rector between 1952 and 1964 at Lavenham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He held the office of Rural Dean (R.D.) of Lavenham in 1955.¹ He held the office of Hon.      Elaine Christine Isobel Iredale is the daughter of Joseph Henry Iredale.² She married Rev. Canon Henry Wilmot Stapleton Cotton, son of Reverend James Stapleton Cotton and Louisa Jessie Campbell, on 9 April 1923.¹
     From 9 April 1923, her married name became Cotton.

     Beatrice Jessie Cotton was born in 1880.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend James Stapleton Cotton and Louisa Jessie Campbell.² She married Reverend Percy Edward Mainwaring, son of Reverend Charles Henry Mainwaring and Jane Broughton, on 16 April 1912.¹ She died on 20 September 1945, without issue.¹
     From 16 April 1912, her married name became Mainwaring.

     Reverend Charles Mainwaring was born in 1768.¹ He was the son of Charles Mainwaring and Mary Falconer.¹ He married Sarah Susannah Townsend, daughter of John Townsend.¹ He died in 1807.¹
     He lived at Oteley Park, Ellesmere, Shropshire, England.²
