     Jean Montgomerie was the daughter of Dr. William Montgomerie.² She married General Henry Hopkinson, son of Benjamin Hopkinson and Louisa Ann Stedman, on 10 September 1849.¹ She died on 16 November 1891.¹
     From 10 September 1849, her married name became Hopkinson.

     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was a member of the Council of the Royal Albert Hall between 1900 and 1936.¹ He became a Master Merchant of the Taylors’ Company in 1910.¹ He lived at Duntesbourne Manor House, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1936.¹

     Norah Montgomerie Margaret Maynard Hopkinson is the daughter of General Henry Hopkinson and Jean Montgomerie.² She married Thomas Arthur Hill on 28 April 1886.¹
     She lived at Normanton-on-the-Wolds, Plumtree, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ From 28 April 1886, her married name became Hill.

     Thomas Arthur Hill married Norah Montgomerie Margaret Maynard Hopkinson, daughter of General Henry Hopkinson and Jean Montgomerie, on 28 April 1886.¹
     He had a son.¹
