     Ellen Hopkinson was the daughter of Luke Hopkinson and Elizabeth Wrightson.² She married Sir George Edmund Hodgkinson, son of George Hodgkinson, on 17 August 1848.¹ She died in 1864.¹
     From 17 August 1848, her married name became Hodgkinson.

     Sir George Edmund Hodgkinson was the son of George Hodgkinson.² He married Ellen Hopkinson, daughter of Luke Hopkinson and Elizabeth Wrightson, on 17 August 1848.¹ He died in 1886.¹
     Sheriff of London.¹ He lived at 44 Wimpole Street, London, England^G.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He had two sons.¹

     Elizabeth Hopkinson was born on 15 September 1825.¹ She was the daughter of Luke Hopkinson and Elizabeth Wrightson.² She married Alexander Pulling on 15 August 1855.¹ She died on 6 July 1896 at age 70.¹
     From 15 August 1855, her married name became Pulling.

     Alexander Pulling married Elizabeth Hopkinson, daughter of Luke Hopkinson and Elizabeth Wrightson, on 15 August 1855.¹ He died on 15 January 1895.¹
     He had two sons.¹ He was a practising Serjeant-at-law.¹

     General Sir Charles Hopkinson was born on 14 September 1783.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Hopkinson and Mary Gresley.² He died on 17 December 1864 at age 81, unmarried.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1826.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1837.¹ He was General of the Artillery in India.¹

     William Hopkinson was born in December 1785.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Hopkinson and Mary Gresley.² He married Elizabeth Ibberson, daughter of Christopher Ibberson, on 5 February 1814.¹ He died on 9 February 1866 at age 80.¹
