     Lt.-Gen. Edmund Feilding is the son of Rev. Hon. John Feilding and Bridget Cokayne.² He married, firstly, Sarah Gould, daughter of Sir Henry Gould.¹ He married, secondly, Eleanor Blanchfield.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General.¹

     Sir Henry Gould held the office of Judge of the King’s Bench in 1698.¹

     Sarah Gould is the daughter of Sir Henry Gould.² She married Lt.-Gen. Edmund Feilding, son of Rev. Hon. John Feilding and Bridget Cokayne.¹
     Her married name became Feilding.

     Henry Fielding was born on 22 April 1707.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Edmund Feilding and Sarah Gould.³ He married, firstly, Charlotte Craddock on 28 November 1734.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Daniel on 27 November 1747.¹ He died on 8 October 1754 at age 47.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Leyden, The Netherlands^G.¹ He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He wrote the book Amelia.¹ He wrote the book The History of Jonathan Wild the Great.¹ He wrote the book Joseph Andrews.¹ He wrote the book Tom Jones.¹ He was a magistrate and journalist.¹

     Charlotte Craddock married Henry Fielding, son of Lt.-Gen. Edmund Feilding and Sarah Gould, on 28 November 1734.¹ She died in 1744.¹
     From 28 November 1734, her married name became Fielding.¹

     Mary Daniel married Henry Fielding, son of Lt.-Gen. Edmund Feilding and Sarah Gould, on 27 November 1747.¹ She died in 1802.¹
     From 27 November 1747, her married name became Fielding.¹

     William Fielding was born on 10 February 1748.¹ He was the son of Henry Fielding and Mary Daniel.² He died on 1 October 1820 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He was a practising barrister.¹ He was a magistrate at Queen’s Square, London, England^G.¹

     Reverend Allen Fielding was born on 3 October 1754.¹ He was the son of Henry Fielding and Mary Daniel.² He married Mary Ann Whittingham, daughter of Sir John Feilding and Elizabeth Whittingham, on 23 October 1783.¹ He died on 9 April 1823 at age 68.¹
     He was the Vicar at Sheperdswell, England^G.¹ He was the Vicar at St. Stephen’s Church, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹

     Sir William Meredyth, 1st Bt. is the son of Sir Robert Meredyth and Anne Ussher. He married Mary King, daughter of Sir Robert King and Frances Folliott.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Meredyth, of Greenhills, co. Kildare [Ireland] on 12 November 1660.

     Mary Ann Whittingham was the daughter of Sir John Feilding and Elizabeth Whittingham.² She married Reverend Allen Fielding, son of Henry Fielding and Mary Daniel, on 23 October 1783.¹ She died in 1820.¹
     She was adopted by Sir John Feilding.¹ From 23 October 1783, her married name became Fielding.¹
