He fought in the Battle of Crécy, in the second division under the Earl of Arundel.1 He fought in the Siege of Calais from 1346 to 1347.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wiltshire in 1364/65.1 In 1381/82 he received commissions to suppress and punish the Peasant’s Revolts in Hampshire and Wiltshire, but was reprimanded for his leniency.1 He lived at Hempston Cantelupe, Devon, EnglandG.1
