     Rt. Rev. William Hart Coleridge was born on 27 June 1789.¹ He was the son of Luke Herman Coleridge and Sarah Hart.² He married Sara Eliza Rennell, daughter of Very Rev. Thomas Rennell, on 11 October 1825.¹ He died on 20 December 1849 at age 60.¹
     He held the office of Bishop of Barbados.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Very Rev. Thomas Rennell held the office of Dean of Winchester.¹

     Sara Eliza Rennell was the daughter of Very Rev. Thomas Rennell.² She married Rt. Rev. William Hart Coleridge, son of Luke Herman Coleridge and Sarah Hart, on 11 October 1825.¹ She died on 29 August 1869.¹
     From 11 October 1825, her married name became Coleridge.

     William Rennell Coleridge was born in 1833.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. William Hart Coleridge and Sara Eliza Rennell.² He married Katherine Frances Barton, daughter of Captain Robert Cutts Barton, on 9 August 1855.¹ He died on 19 January 1904.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Devon Militia.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He lived at Salston House, Devon, England^G.¹

     Captain Robert Cutts Barton gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Katherine Frances Barton was the daughter of Captain Robert Cutts Barton.² She married William Rennell Coleridge, son of Rt. Rev. William Hart Coleridge and Sara Eliza Rennell, on 9 August 1855.¹ She died on 15 October 1903.¹
     From 9 August 1855, her married name became Coleridge.

     Dorothy Athill was born on 26 March 1776 at Antigua^G.² She was the daughter of Joseph Lyons Athill and Christian Doeg.² She married, firstly, Thomas Hackett before 1841.¹ She married, secondly, Dr. Thomas Turner, son of Samuel Turner and Anne Athill, on 7 January 1841 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 1 September 1843 at age 67 at The Grove, Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.^1,2 She was buried at Linstead Parva, Suffolk, England^G.²
     From before 1841, her married name became Hackett.¹ From 7 January 1841, her married name became Turner.¹

     Ellen Gertrude Swabey was the daughter of Frederick Swabey.¹ She married Major Rennell Coleridge, son of William Rennell Coleridge and Katherine Frances Barton, on 17 June 1891.¹ She died on 22 July 1944.¹
     From 17 June 1891, her married name became Coleridge. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     2nd Lt. Luke Frederick Rennell Coleridge was born on 20 November 1892.¹ He was the son of Major Rennell Coleridge and Ellen Gertrude Swabey.² He died on 22 December 1914 at age 22, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards (Special Reserves.)¹

     Derek William Rennell Coleridge was born on 14 February 1894.¹ He was the son of Major Rennell Coleridge and Ellen Gertrude Swabey.² He died on 29 June 1972 at age 78, unmarried.¹
