Hon. Frances Howard was born on 27 July 1578. She was the daughter of Thomas Howard, 1st Viscount Howard of Bindon and Mabel Burton.1 She married, firstly, Henry Parnell in 1592.2 She married, secondly, Edward Seymour, 1st Earl of Hertford, son of Edward Seymour, 1st Duke of Somerset and Anne Stanhope, circa 27 May 1601.1 She married Ludovic Stuart, 2nd Duke of Lennox, son of Esmé Stuart, 1st Duke of Lennox and Catherine de Balsac, on 16 June 1621.1 She died on 8 October 1639 at age 61.1 She was buried on 10 October 1639 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, EnglandG.
From 1592, her married name became Parnell.2 After her marriage, Hon. Frances Howard was styled as Countess of Hertford circa 27 May 1601. From circa 27 May 1601, her married name became Seymour. From 16 June 1621, her married name became Stuart.1 After her marriage, Hon. Frances Howard was styled as Duchess of Lennox on 16 June 1621.
