     John Herbert Roberts, 1st Baron Clwyd was born on 8 August 1863.¹ He was the son of John Roberts and Catherine Tudor Hughes.² He married Hannah Rushton Caine, daughter of William Sproston Caine, on 1 August 1893.¹ He died on 19 December 1955 at age 92.²

Denbigh [U.K.] on 25 July 1908.¹ He was chairman of the Welsh Liberal Parliamentary Party between 1912 and 1918.² He was a Commissioner for Temporalities under the Welsh Church Act after 1914.² He was created 1st Baron Clwyd, of Abergele, co. Denbigh [U.K.] on 19 May 1919.²

     William Sproston Caine held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Camborne.¹

     Hannah Rushton Caine was the daughter of William Sproston Caine.² She married John Herbert Roberts, 1st Baron Clwyd, son of John Roberts and Catherine Tudor Hughes, on 1 August 1893.¹ She died on 1 January 1951.¹
     From 1 August 1893, her married name became Roberts. After her marriage, Hannah Rushton Caine was styled as Baroness Clwyd on 19 May 1919.

     John Trevor Roberts Roberts, 2nd Baron Clwyd was born on 28 November 1900.¹ He was the son of John Herbert Roberts, 1st Baron Clwyd and Hannah Rushton Caine.² He married Joan de Bois Murray, daughter of Charles Robert Murray, on 4 January 1932.¹ He died in 1987.²

Denbigh [U.K., 1919] on 19 December 1955.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Roberts, of Abergele, co. Denbigh [U.K., 1908] on 19 December 1955.²

     Hon. David Stowell Roberts was born on 28 November 1900.¹ He was the son of John Herbert Roberts, 1st Baron Clwyd and Hannah Rushton Caine.² He married Aileen Mary Box Burrow, daughter of Charles Edward Burrow, on 11 August 1936.¹ He died on 28 April 1956 at age 55.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1922 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1927 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a Senior History Master at Christ’s Hospital, Horsham, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Charles Edward Burrow lived at Sale, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Aileen Mary Box Burrow is the daughter of Charles Edward Burrow.² She married Hon. David Stowell Roberts, son of John Herbert Roberts, 1st Baron Clwyd and Hannah Rushton Caine, on 11 August 1936.¹
     From 11 August 1936, her married name became Roberts. She lived in 2003 at 24 Long Ashton Road, Bristol, England^G.¹

     Hugh Martin Roberts was born on 9 October 1941.¹ He is the son of Hon. David Stowell Roberts and Aileen Mary Box Burrow.² He married Diana Cochran, daughter of Denis C. Cochran, on 13 August 1966.¹
