He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York in 1660.1 He was created 1st Baronet Robinson, of Newby, co. York [England] on 30 July 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York between 1661 and 1679.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York between 1685 and 1687.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1
