     Leopold George Prendergast Vereker was born on 26 January 1881.¹ He was the son of Captain Hon. Foley Charles Prendergast Vereker and Ellen Amelia Wilshere.¹ He married Helen Marjorie Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell, on 18 September 1915.¹ He died on 16 December 1937 at age 56.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy Reserve.¹ He was awarded the Reserve Decoration (R.D.)¹

     Helen Marjorie Campbell was the daughter of Colin Campbell.² She married Leopold George Prendergast Vereker, son of Captain Hon. Foley Charles Prendergast Vereker and Ellen Amelia Wilshere, on 18 September 1915.¹ She died on 11 March 1958.¹
     From 18 September 1915, her married name became Vereker.¹

     Colin Leopold Prendergast Vereker, 8th Viscount Gort was born on 21 June 1916.¹ He was the son of Leopold George Prendergast Vereker and Helen Marjorie Campbell.¹ He married Bettine Mary Mackenzie Green, daughter of Godfrey Green, on 4 July 1946.¹ He died on 6 April 1995 at age 78 at Castletown, Isle of Man^G.^1,2
     Colin Leopold Prendergast Vereker, 8th Viscount Gort also went by the nick-name of Kim.¹ He was educated at Sevenoaks School, Sevenoaks, Kent, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.¹ He was a director of Royal Skandia IoMale, Invesco Fund Managers IoMale, Euronav IoM and Eurofish IoM.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Castletown, Isle of Man in 1962.¹ He held the office of Member of the House of Keys (M.H.K.) between 1966 and 1971.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Gort, co. Galway [I., 1816] in 1975.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Kiltarton of Gort, co. Galway [I., 1810] in 1975.¹

     Bettine Mary Mackenzie Green was born circa 1918.² She was the daughter of Godfrey Green.³ She married, firstly, Arthur Henry Jarand before 1946.¹ She married, secondly, Colin Leopold Prendergast Vereker, 8th Viscount Gort, son of Leopold George Prendergast Vereker and Helen Marjorie Campbell, on 4 July 1946.¹ She died on 17 November 2009 at Isle of Man^G.²
     From before 1946, her married name became Jarand.¹ From 4 July 1946, her married name became Vereker.¹ After her marriage, Bettine Mary Mackenzie Green was styled as Viscountess Gort in 1975.

     Foley Robert Standish Prendergast Vereker, 9th Viscount Gort was born on 24 October 1951.¹ He is the son of Colin Leopold Prendergast Vereker, 8th Viscount Gort and Bettine Mary Mackenzie Green.¹ He married, firstly, Julie Denise Jones, daughter of D. W. Jones, on 15 September 1979.¹ He and Julie Denise Jones were divorced in 1987.¹ He married, secondly, Sharon Lyn Quayle, daughter of Arnold Quayle, on 19 October 1991.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Gort, co. Galway [I., 1816] on 6 April 1995.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron Kiltarton of Gort, co. Galway [I., 1810] on 6 April 1995.² He was a portrait painter and photographer.² He lived in 2003 at The Coach House, Arbory Street, Castletown, Isle of Man^G.²

     Julie Denise Jones is the daughter of D. W. Jones.² She married Foley Robert Standish Prendergast Vereker, 9th Viscount Gort, son of Colin Leopold Prendergast Vereker, 8th Viscount Gort and Bettine Mary Mackenzie Green, on 15 September 1979.¹ She and Foley Robert Standish Prendergast Vereker, 9th Viscount Gort were divorced in 1987.¹
     From 15 September 1979, her married name became Vereker.¹
