     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Patrick Arthur Henry Else was born on 10 November 1934.¹ He is the son of Commander Sydney Arthur Moorhouse Else and Daphne Eleanor Vereker.¹ He married Jane Ann Ickringill, daughter of Eric Smith Ickringill, on 24 July 1965.¹

     Jane Ann Ickringill is the daughter of Eric Smith Ickringill.² She married Patrick Arthur Henry Else, son of Commander Sydney Arthur Moorhouse Else and Daphne Eleanor Vereker, on 24 July 1965.¹
     From 24 July 1965, her married name became Else.¹

     Henry Patrick Arthur Else was born on 14 May 1979.¹ He is the son of Patrick Arthur Henry Else and Jane Ann Ickringill.¹
     He was educated at King’s College School, Wimbledon, London, England^G.¹

     Sarah-Jane Else was born on 25 July 1966.¹ She is the daughter of Patrick Arthur Henry Else and Jane Ann Ickringill.¹

     Sandra Whittaker married Nigel Christopher John Else, son of Commander Sydney Arthur Moorhouse Else and Daphne Eleanor Vereker, in 1972.¹
     From 1972, her married name became Else.¹
