     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.² He was a chartered accountant.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Lambert, of London [G.B., 1711] on 17 March 1938.¹

     G/Capt. Colin John Phillips was the son of Arthur William Phillips.¹ He married Roma Ann Lambert, daughter of Sir Greville Foley Lambert, 9th Bt. and Edith Roma Batson, on 15 December 1956.¹ He died on 21 June 2001.¹
     He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.²

     David Jonathan Phillips was born on 9 May 1958.¹ He is the son of G/Capt. Colin John Phillips and Roma Ann Lambert.¹ He married Joanne Susan Shore in 1992.¹
