     Sir Percy Malcolm Stewart, 1st Bt. was born on 9 May 1872.¹ He was the son of Sir Halley Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Atkinson.² He married, firstly, Cordelia Rickett, daughter of Sir Joseph Compton Rickett, in 1896.¹ He married, secondly, Beatrice Maud Pratt, daughter of Joseph Bishop Pratt, on 25 April 1907.¹ He died on 27 February 1951 at age 78.¹
     He was educated at Royal High School, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at University School, Hastings, Kent, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bedfordshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Bedfordshire.¹ He was Director for the Ministry of Munitions between 1917 and 1919 at Government Rolling Mills, Southampton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He was Commissioner of Special Areas (England and Wales) between 1934 and 1936.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, England^G, in 1937.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Stewart, of Stewartby, co. Bedford [U.K.] on 4 March 1937.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1941.¹

     Bernard Halley Stewart was born on 6 May 1874.¹ He was the son of Sir Halley Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Atkinson.² He married Mabel Florence Wyatt on 11 April 1905.¹ He died on 30 July 1958 at age 84.¹
     Bernard Halley Stewart usually went by his middle name of Halley.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.)¹ He graduated in 1904 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He graduated in 1907 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)³ He graduated in 1911 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was president of the Sir Halley Stewart Trust.¹

     Bertie Jane Louise Stewart was born circa 1871.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Halley Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Atkinson.² She married Ernest Cecil Haram on 11 October 1902.¹ She died on 28 March 1961.¹

     Ernest Cecil Haram married Bertie Jane Louise Stewart, daughter of Sir Halley Stewart and Jane Elizabeth Atkinson, on 11 October 1902.¹ He died on 30 September 1929.¹

     Hon. George Chenevix Hill was born on 4 May 1887.¹ He was the son of Captain Arthur Blundell George Sandys Hill and Helen Emily Trench.¹ He married Hon. Patricia Irene Wilmot Tufton, daughter of John Sackville Richard Tufton, 2nd Baron Hothfield of Hothfield and Lady Ierne Louisa Arundel Hastings, on 14 December 1921.¹ He died on 12 October 1963 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec Palmes.¹ He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Air Force.¹ In 1950 he was granted the rank of a baron’s younger son.¹
