     Violet Florine Sarah Maconochie was the daughter of Brigadier Hartley Alfred Maconochie.2 She married Giles Roger Standish Plowden, son of Lt.-Col. Piers Standish Plowden and Ethel Muriel Cynthia Critchley, on 15 October 1955.1 She died on 15 July 2006.3
     Violet Florine Sarah Maconochie usually went by her middle name of Sarah. From 15 October 1955, her married name became Plowden.
