     William Francis Plowden was born on 3 June 1853.¹ He was the son of William Henry Francis Plowden and Barbara Cholmeley.² He married Lady Mary Dundas, daughter of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Margaret Matilda Talbot, on 12 October 1874.¹ He died on 8 July 1914 at age 61.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Aston-le-Walls, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Plowden, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He also had two elder sons and a youngest son (all died without issue.)¹

     Lady Mary Dundas was the daughter of Hon. John Charles Dundas and Margaret Matilda Talbot.² She married William Francis Plowden, son of William Henry Francis Plowden and Barbara Cholmeley, on 12 October 1874.¹ She died on 19 September 1911.³
     In 1873 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.² From 12 October 1874, her married name became Plowden.

     Roger Edmund Joseph Plowden was born on 5 June 1879.¹ He was the son of William Francis Plowden and Lady Mary Dundas.² He married, firstly, Mary Florence Cholmondeley, daughter of Captain Harry Cholmondeley, on 19 December 1919.¹
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 7th Royal Welsh Fusiliers and Shropshire Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Plowden, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Captain Harry Cholmondeley lived at Redlynch House, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Florence Cholmondeley was the daughter of Captain Harry Cholmondeley.² She married Roger Edmund Joseph Plowden, son of William Francis Plowden and Lady Mary Dundas, on 19 December 1919.¹ She died on 11 May 1930.¹
     From 19 December 1919, her married name became Plowden.

     William Francis Godfrey Plowden was born on 4 December 1925.¹ He was the son of Roger Edmund Joseph Plowden and Mary Florence Cholmondeley.² He married Valerie Ann Bush, daughter of Commander Athelstan Paul Bush, on 17 July 1951.¹ He died in June 2001 at age 75 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.³
     He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Shropshire Yeomanry and Rifle Brigade.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1953.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1967.¹ He lived in 1999 at The Old Farmhouse, Choulton, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Commander Athelstan Paul Bush was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Tockington Court, Bristol, England^G.¹

     Valerie Ann Bush is the daughter of Commander Athelstan Paul Bush.² She married William Francis Godfrey Plowden, son of Roger Edmund Joseph Plowden and Mary Florence Cholmondeley, on 17 July 1951.¹
     From 17 July 1951, her married name became Plowden.
