Evelyn Henry Pierrepont was born on 23 August 1856.¹ He was the son of Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont, 3rd Earl Manvers and Georgiana Jane Elizabeth Fanny de Franquetot.¹ He married Sophia Arkwright, daughter of William Arkwright, on 1 June 1880 at London, England.¹ He died on 4 June 1926 at age 69.¹

     Sophia Arkwright was born in 1855 at Hotham, Yorkshire, England.² She was the daughter of William Arkwright.¹ She married Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont, son of Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont, 3rd Earl Manvers and Georgiana Jane Elizabeth Fanny de Franquetot, on 1 June 1880 at London, England.¹ She died on 5 June 1941, as the result of an accident.¹
     From 1 June 1880, her married name became Pierrepont.¹

     William Arkwright lived at Sutton Scarsdale, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Gervas Evelyn Pierrepont, 6th Earl Manvers was born on 15 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright.¹ He married Marie-Louise Roosevelt Butterfield, daughter of Sir Frederick William Louis Butterfield and Jessie Kennedy Ridgway, on 5 February 1918.¹ He died on 13 February 1955 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Cooper’s Hill Engineering College.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Crown of Belgium.¹ He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1922 and 1946, Brixtin Division.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Pierrepont of Holme Pierrepont, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1796] on 17 July 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Earl Manvers [U.K., 1806] on 17 July 1926.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Newark of Newark-on-Trent, co. Nottingham [G.B., 1796] on 17 July 1926.¹ He held the office of Member of the Nottinghamshire County Council between 1940 and 1946.¹ On his death, his titles became extinct.²

     Lady Eva Mary Pierrepont was born on 23 October 1882.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright.¹ She married Elliott Mackirdy Scott-MacKirdy, son of William Augustus Scott-MacKirdy and Lucy Bell, on 4 July 1906 at St. Georges Church, Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She died on 2 June 1971 at age 88 at Worthing, Sussex, England.²
     From 4 July 1906, her married name became Scott-MacKirdy.¹ In August 1940 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.¹

     Lady Clare Isma Pierrepont was born on 2 September 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright.¹ She married Fred Somerset Hartnell on 20 September 1919.¹
     From 20 September 1919, her married name became Hartnell.¹ She held the office of Mayor of Chelsea between 1939 and 1941.¹ In August 1940 she was granted the rank of an earl’s daughter.¹

     Elliott Mackirdy Scott-MacKirdy was born on 9 March 1881 at Lanarkshire, Scotland.² He was the son of William Augustus Scott-MacKirdy and Lucy Bell.² He married Lady Eva Mary Pierrepont, daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright, on 4 July 1906 at St. Georges Church, Hanover Square, London, England.¹ He died on 7 January 1938 at age 56 at Abbey House, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, England.²

     Fred Somerset Hartnell married Lady Clare Isma Pierrepont, daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright, on 20 September 1919.¹

     Ida Helen Pierrepont was born on 27 January 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Pierrepont and Sophia Arkwright.¹ She died on 6 August 1894 at age 8.¹

     Henry Sydney Pierrepont was born on 18 August 1863.¹ He was the son of Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont, 3rd Earl Manvers and Georgiana Jane Elizabeth Fanny de Franquetot.¹ He died on 4 March 1882 at age 18.¹
