     Rowland Stephen Astley Kennard was born on 18 June 1871.² He was the son of Henry Steinmetz Kennard and Frances Charlotte Celestine Sperling.² He married Winifred Dagmar Heyworth, daughter of Lawrence Heyworth, on 11 August 1896.² He died in 1920.¹

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the 10th Hussars.²

     Evelyn Grace Cardell Martyn is the daughter of Cardell Pascoe Martyn.² She married Henry Rowland Heyworth Kennard, son of Rowland Stephen Astley Kennard and Winifred Dagmar Heyworth, on 8 November 1937.²
