     John Lister was born on 14 December 1737.¹ He married Mary Jackson on 10 October 1764.¹ He died on 9 February 1836 at age 98.¹
     He was a wine merchant at Stoke Newington, London, England^G.¹

     Mary Jackson married John Lister on 10 October 1764.¹ She died on 1 March 1808.¹
     From 10 October 1764, her married name became Lister.¹

     Mary Lister was born in 1766.¹ She was the daughter of John Lister and Mary Jackson.¹ She died in 1847, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Lister was born in 1768.¹ She was the daughter of John Lister and Mary Jackson.¹ She married T. B. Beck in 1789.¹ She died on 24 February 1857.¹
     From 1789, her married name became Beck.¹

     Major John Beresford Powell was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)² He lived at Hightown, Aldbourne, Wiltshire, England^G.²

     T. B. Beck married Elizabeth Lister, daughter of John Lister and Mary Jackson, in 1789.¹
     He lived at Dover, Kent, England^G.¹

     Isabella Harris was the daughter of Anthony Harris.¹ She married Joseph Jackson Lister, son of John Lister and Mary Jackson, on 14 July 1818.¹ She died on 3 September 1864.¹
     From 14 July 1818, her married name became Lister.¹
