Sir William Cameron Gull, 2nd Bt.1 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1887 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Gull, of Brook St, in the parish of St George, Hanover Square, Middlesex [U.K., 1872] on 29 January 1890.2 He was member of the London School Board between 1891 and 1894.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North-West Berkshire between 1895 and 1900.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1908.2

He was educated at Bridgnorth School, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1841 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was an assistant master in 1843 at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1846 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn in 1847 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1870.1 He held the office of Personal Secretary to the Treasury between 1870 and 1875.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1879.1 He was created 1st Baron Lingen, of Lingen, co. Hereford [U.K.] on 3 July 1885.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1
