     Valentine Knightley was born on 1 May 1718.¹ He was the son of Lucy Knightley and Jane Grey Benson.¹ He married Elizabeth Dummer, daughter of Edward Dummer, on 21 December 1740.¹ He died on 2 May 1754 at age 36.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton between 1748 and 1754.¹ He lived at Fawsley, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Dummer was the daughter of Edward Dummer.¹ She married Valentine Knightley, son of Lucy Knightley and Jane Grey Benson, on 21 December 1740.¹ She died on 11 August 1760.¹
     From 21 December 1740, her married name became Knightley.¹

     Edward Dummer lived at Swathling, England^G.¹

     Sir John Knightley, 1st Bt. was born on 17 February 1746.² He was the son of Valentine Knightley and Elizabeth Dummer.¹ He married Mary Baines, daughter of John Baines, on 15 April 1779.² He died on 29 January 1812 at age 65, without issue.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Knightley, of Fawsley, co. Northampton [Great Britain] on 2 February 1798, with a special remainder to the male isuse of his deceased brother, Charles.²

     Reverend Charles Knightley was born on 29 October 1753.¹ He was the son of Valentine Knightley and Elizabeth Dummer.¹ He married Elizabeth Boulton, daughter of Henry Boulton, on 23 June 1779.¹ He died on 28 June 1787 at age 33.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)¹

     Elizabeth Boulton is the daughter of Henry Boulton.¹ She married Reverend Charles Knightley, son of Valentine Knightley and Elizabeth Dummer, on 23 June 1779.¹
     From 23 June 1779, her married name became Knightley.¹

     Henry Boulton lived at Moulton, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Sir Charles Knightley, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 June 1781.² He was the son of Reverend Charles Knightley and Elizabeth Boulton.¹ He married Selina Mary Hervey, daughter of Felton Lionel Hervey and Selina Mary Elwill, on 24 August 1813.² He died on 30 August 1864 at age 83.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Knightley, of Fawsley, co. Northampton [G.B., 1798] on 29 January 1812.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Northampton between 1834 and 1852.²

     Reverend Henry Knightley was born on 23 January 1786.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Knightley and Elizabeth Boulton.¹ He married Jane Diana Story, daughter of Reverend Philip Story, in 1810.¹ He died on 9 September 1813 at age 27.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹
