Sir William Lewis Salusbury-Trelawny, 8th Bt.1 
He was given the name of William Lewis Trelawny at birth.2 On 11 December 1802 his name was legally changed to William Lewis Salusbury-Trelawny by Royal Licence.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Cornwall.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cornwall in 1811.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall between 1839 and 1856.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Trelawny, of Trelawny, Cornwall [E., 1628] on 3 May 1856.2
