     Sir Thomas Glen Glen-Coats, 1st Bt. was born on 19 February 1846.¹ He was the son of Thomas Coats and Margaret Glen.¹ He married Elise Agnes Walker, daughter of Alexander Walker, on 20 April 1876.¹ He died on 12 July 1922 at age 76.¹
     He was given the name of Thomas Glen Coats at birth.¹ His name was legally changed to Thomas Glen Glen-Coats.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Glen-Coats [U.K.] on 25 June 1894.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Renfrewshire between 1906 and 1910.¹

     Elise Agnes Walker was the daughter of Alexander Walker.¹ She married Sir Thomas Glen Glen-Coats, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Coats and Margaret Glen, on 20 April 1876.¹ She died on 12 March 1910.¹
     From 20 April 1876, her married name became Glen-Coats.¹

     Alexander Walker lived at Montreal, Quebec, Canada^G.¹

     Sir Thomas Coats Glen Glen-Coats, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 May 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Glen Glen-Coats, 1st Bt. and Elise Agnes Walker.¹ He married Louise Hugon, daughter of Emile Hugon, on 5 April 1935.¹ He died on 7 March 1954 at age 75, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Glen-Coats [U.K., 1894] on 12 July 1922.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Louise Hugon is the daughter of Emile Hugon.¹ She married, firstly, James Colin Newman.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Coats Glen Glen-Coats, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Glen Glen-Coats, 1st Bt. and Elise Agnes Walker, on 5 April 1935.¹
     Her married name became Newman.¹ From 5 April 1935, her married name became Glen-Coats.¹

     Emile Hugon lived at Paris, France^G.¹

     James Colin Newman married Louise Hugon, daughter of Emile Hugon.¹

     Alexander Harold Glen-Coats was born on 26 July 1883.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Glen Glen-Coats, 1st Bt. and Elise Agnes Walker.¹ He married Elizabeth Millar Greenlees, daughter of Thomas Greenlees, on 22 July 1924.¹ He died on 23 October 1933 at age 50.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Glasgow Yeomanry.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Renfrewshire.²
