     Jacqueline Cross also went by the nick-name of Dickie.¹ From 16 March 1940, her married name became Miles.¹

     Anthony William Miles was born on 2 December 1946.¹ He was the son of Charles William Noel Miles and Jacqueline Cross.¹ He died on 28 February 1969 at age 22, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Phinola Jane Miles was born on 19 August 1943.¹ She is the daughter of Charles William Noel Miles and Jacqueline Cross.¹ She married Anthony McCandlish Smith, son of Dr. David Smith, on 30 September 1967.¹
     From 30 September 1967, her married name became Smith.¹

     Anthony McCandlish Smith is the son of Dr. David Smith.¹ He married Phinola Jane Miles, daughter of Charles William Noel Miles and Jacqueline Cross, on 30 September 1967.¹

     Dr. David Smith lived at East London, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹

     Pamela Dillon was the daughter of Captain Francis Michael Dillon.¹ She married Sir William Napier Maurice Miles, 6th Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles William Miles, 5th Bt. and Favell Mary Hill, on 31 August 1946.¹ She died on 18 September 2002.¹
     From 31 August 1946, her married name became Miles.¹

     Sir Philip John Miles, 7th Bt. was born on 10 August 1953.¹ He is the son of Sir William Napier Maurice Miles, 6th Bt. and Pamela Dillon.¹
     He was educated at Northease Manor, Lewes, Sussex, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1999.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Miles, of Leigh Court, co. Somerset [U.K., 1859] on 29 December 2010.

     Catherine Anne Elizabeth Miles was born on 10 June 1947.¹ She is the daughter of Sir William Napier Maurice Miles, 6th Bt. and Pamela Dillon.¹ She married Peter Charles Beloe on 6 September 1974.¹
     From 6 September 1974, her married name became Beloe.¹ She lived in 2003 at Madam’s End Farm, Hardwicke, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹
