Alexander Crookshank was born on 30 June 1736.1 He was the son of William Crookshank and Rebecca Tandy.1 He married Esther Kennedy, daughter of William Kennedy, on 12 July 1768.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Belfast between 1777 and 1783.1 He lived at Drumhalry, County Longford, IrelandG.1 He lived at Birrenagh, County Longford, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Court of Common Pleas [Ireland] between 1784 and 1800.1 He had six other sons.1

George Crookshank was born on 26 September 1770.2 He was the son of Alexander Crookshank and Esther Kennedy.1 He married, firstly, Philippa Letitia Godfrey, daughter of Reverend Luke Godfrey and Mary Cope, on 4 June 1793.2 He died on 24 June 1831 at age 60.2

Colonel Chichester William Crookshank was born on 24 May 1783.2 He was the son of Alexander Crookshank and Esther Kennedy.1 He married Charlotte Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of Reverend Charles Johnson, in 1818.2 He died on 1 September 1838 at age 55.2
He was commissioned in 1799, in the service of the 58th Foot.2 He fought in the Cape of Good Hope Campaign in 1806.2 He fought in the Montevideo Campaign, where he was wounded.2 He fought in the capture of Buenos Aires.2 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.2 He fought in the Walcheran Expedition.2 He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.) in 1835.2

Captain Blackman Chichester Graham Crookshank was born on 10 January 1819.1 He was the son of Colonel Chichester William Crookshank and Charlotte Elizabeth Johnson.1 He married Helen Elizabeth Bilton, daughter of George Bilton, on 4 December 1849.1 He died on 24 April 1860 at age 41.1
