     Captain Rupert Cholmeley Yea Dering was born on 7 April 1883.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edgar William Wallace Dering and Marianna Emily Harding.² He married Helen Margaret FitzGerald, daughter of James FitzGerald, on 6 August 1914.¹ He died on 18 April 1915 at age 32, from wounds received in action.²
     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹

     Helen Margaret FitzGerald was the daughter of James FitzGerald.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Rupert Cholmeley Yea Dering, son of Lt.-Col. Edgar William Wallace Dering and Marianna Emily Harding, on 6 August 1914.¹ She married, secondly, Robert Brinsley FitzGerald, son of Robert John FitzGerald and Marion Harte, on 2 October 1920.¹ She died on 19 June 1974.¹
     From 6 August 1914, her married name became Dering. From 2 October 1920, her married name became FitzGerald.

     James FitzGerald lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Robert Brinsley FitzGerald was born on 9 March 1884.¹ He was the son of Robert John FitzGerald and Marion Harte.² He married Helen Margaret FitzGerald, daughter of James FitzGerald, on 2 October 1920.¹ He died on 23 May 1952 at age 68, without issue.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the General List.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Crown of Italy.¹ He was awarded the Order of Leopold of Belgium.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹

     Lt.-Col. Sir Rupert Anthony Yea Dering, 12th Bt. was born posthumously on 17 October 1915. He was the son of Captain Rupert Cholmeley Yea Dering and Helen Margaret FitzGerald.² He married Betty Bridgett Druce, daughter of Lt.-Col. Vere Powys Druce, on 17 April 1940.¹ He died in 1975.³
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Dering, of Surrenden Dering, co. Kent [E., 1626] on 23 April 1958.²

     Betty Bridgett Druce was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Vere Powys Druce.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Sir Rupert Anthony Yea Dering, 12th Bt., son of Captain Rupert Cholmeley Yea Dering and Helen Margaret FitzGerald, on 17 April 1940.¹ She died circa 20 January 2011 at St. Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, Sussex, England^G.²
     Her married name became Dering.

     Lt.-Col. Vere Powys Druce was born in 1878.¹ He died in 1940.¹
     He lived at Rose Cottage, Charminster, Dorset, England^G.¹

     Susan Helen Dering was born on 21 October 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Rupert Anthony Yea Dering, 12th Bt. and Betty Bridgett Druce.¹ She married Henry John Fredman, son of David Fredman, on 4 April 1967.¹
     Her married name became Fredman.

     Jenny Annabelle Fredman was born on 14 July 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Henry John Fredman and Susan Helen Dering.¹

     Henry John Fredman is the son of David Fredman.¹ He married Susan Helen Dering, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Rupert Anthony Yea Dering, 12th Bt. and Betty Bridgett Druce, on 4 April 1967.¹
     Henry John Fredman usually went by his middle name of John.¹
