     From 4 July 1971, her married name became Gathorne-Hardy.¹ She lived in 2003 at Hall Farm, Great Glemham, Saxmundham, Suffolk, England.²

     William Nigel Ritchie was born on 1 April 1914.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Harold Ritchie and Ella Priestley.² He married Sibylla Baronin von Hirschberg, daughter of unknown Baron von Hirschberg, on 29 August 1939.² He died in March 1996 at age 81 at Reading, Berkshire, England.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He fought in the Second World War.²
