     Cecil Chaplin was born on 1 March 1844.² He was the son of Reverend Henry Chaplin and Caroline Horatia Ellice.² He married Emily Cecilia Boyle, daughter of Colonel Hon. Robert Edward Boyle and Georgiana Robarts, on 20 January 1870.¹ He died on 28 December 1909 at age 65.²
     He lived at Whissendine, Oakham, Rutland, England^G.¹

     Hamilton Richard Boyle was born on 3 February 1848.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hon. Richard Cavendish Boyle and Eleanor Vere Gordon.¹ He married Harriet Marcia Jane FitzMaurice, daughter of Captain Hon. James Terence FitzMaurice and Frances Rhoda Ouseley, on 17 June 1890.¹ He died on 12 November 1909 at age 61, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.¹

     Harriet Marcia Jane FitzMaurice was the daughter of Captain Hon. James Terence FitzMaurice and Frances Rhoda Ouseley.^1,2 She married Hamilton Richard Boyle, son of Reverend Hon. Richard Cavendish Boyle and Eleanor Vere Gordon, on 17 June 1890.¹ She died on 8 January 1933.¹
     From 17 June 1890, her married name became Boyle.¹

     Lt.-Col. Charles Roger Cavendish Boyle was born on 16 August 1886.¹ He was the son of Major Charles John Boyle and Lillian Kennedy Pochin.¹ He died on 5 February 1971 at age 84, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918 and bar (1918.)¹

     Richard Frederick Robert Pochin Boyle was born on 11 October 1888.¹ He was the son of Major Charles John Boyle and Lillian Kennedy Pochin.¹ He married Marion Elisa Hill Wallace, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Hill Wallace, on 12 February 1918.¹ He died on 6 February 1953 at age 64.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.¹

     Marion Elisa Hill Wallace was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Hill Wallace.¹ She married Richard Frederick Robert Pochin Boyle, son of Major Charles John Boyle and Lillian Kennedy Pochin, on 12 February 1918.¹ She died on 12 April 1969.¹
     From 12 February 1918, her married name became Boyle.¹

     Richard Michael Charles Boyle was born on 12 November 1918.¹ He was the son of Richard Frederick Robert Pochin Boyle and Marion Elisa Hill Wallace.¹ He died in 1994.¹

     John Parke Boyle was born on 30 July 1893.¹ He was the son of Major Charles John Boyle and Lillian Kennedy Pochin.¹ He died on 24 February 1969 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Bradfield School, England^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)¹

     George Hamilton Boyle was born on 15 September 1928.¹ He is the son of Captain Edmund Michael Gordon Leventhorpe Boyle and Maida Cecil Evans-Freke.¹ He married Alathea Henriette Mary March Phillipps de Lisle, daughter of Major John Adrian Frederick March Phillipps de Lisle and Elizabeth Muriel Smyth Guinness, on 25 July 1953.²
     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He graduated from Imperial College, London, England^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was registered as a Associate, Royal School of Mines (A.R.S.M.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Rutland in 1964.¹ He lived in 1965 at Bisbrooke Hall, Uppingham, Leicestershire, England^G.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Leicestershire and Rutland in 1976.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Rutland in 1997.¹ He lived in 2003 at Nozieres, Lamastre, France^G.¹

     Lady Joan Gertrude Elizabeth Amherst was born on 17 July 1899.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Amherst, 4th Earl Amherst of Arracan and Hon. Eleanor Clementina St. Aubyn.¹ She married John Stebbing, son of John Henry Stebbing, on 17 July 1931.¹ She and John Stebbing were divorced in 1947.¹
     She was an instructress with the Hammersmith ice rink.¹ From 17 July 1931, her married name became Stebbing.¹ She was with the British Council.¹ In 1947 her name was legally changed to Amherst.¹
