     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1890 in the Royal Navy.¹

     Alice Blanche Clarke was born on 4 August 1862.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt. and Mary Walker.² She married Chesborough Falconer John Macdonald, son of C. C. Macdonald, on 8 December 1887.¹ She died in April 1940 at age 77, leaving issue.¹
     From 8 December 1887, her married name became Macdonald.

     C. C. Macdonald gained the rank of officer in the 22nd Regiment.¹

     Chesborough Falconer John Macdonald was the son of C. C. Macdonald.² He married Alice Blanche Clarke, daughter of Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt. and Mary Walker, on 8 December 1887.¹ He died in 1919.¹
     He lived at Falcon Manor, Towcester, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Wantabadgery, Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Ethel Maude Clarke was born on 12 July 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt. and Mary Walker.² She married, firstly, Hon. George Alexander Cruikshank in 1895.¹ She married, secondly, Professor Horatio Scott Carslaw, son of Reverend Dr. William Henderson Carslaw, on 12 February 1907.¹ She died on 3 June 1907 at age 39.¹
     From 1895, her married name became Cruikshank. From 12 February 1907, her married name became Carslaw.¹

     Reverend Dr. William Henderson Carslaw lived at Helensburgh, Scotland^G.¹

     Hon. George Alexander Cruikshank married Ethel Maude Clarke, daughter of Sir William John Clarke, 1st Bt. and Mary Walker, in 1895.¹ He died on 11 April 1904.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Australia]¹ He lived at Bryon Inverell, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Sarah Trott was born in 1663.² She was the daughter of Perient Trott.¹ She married John Kenrick, son of Edward Kenrick and Susanna Cranmer.¹ She died on 25 December 1699.²
