     Brian Austin Walter Murray-Gourlay, 27th of Kincraig was born on 17 July 1927.¹ He was the son of George Ronald Auriol Murray-Gourlay, 26th of Kincraig and Phyllis Rowley.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Bryant, daughter of William Bryant, on 4 April 1953.¹ He and Margaret Bryant were divorced in 1962.¹ He married, secondly, Patricia Mary Fewtrell, daughter of Daniel Fewtrell, in 1973.¹ He died in 1996.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹ In 1995 he made over the Barony of Kincraig and resigned chiefship to his kinsman, James Gourlay.²

     Margaret Bryant was the daughter of William Bryant.¹ She married Brian Austin Walter Murray-Gourlay, 27th of Kincraig, son of George Ronald Auriol Murray-Gourlay, 26th of Kincraig and Phyllis Rowley, on 4 April 1953.¹ She and Brian Austin Walter Murray-Gourlay, 27th of Kincraig were divorced in 1962.¹ She died on 22 December 2016.²
     Her married name became Dracopoli. From 4 April 1953, her married name became Murray-Gourlay.

     William Bryant lived at Elmsleigh, Cribbs Causeway, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Hugh William Auriol Murray-Gourlay was born on 27 May 1960.² He is the son of Brian Austin Walter Murray-Gourlay, 27th of Kincraig and Margaret Bryant.² He married Fiona Joan Rumble, daughter of Captain John Rumble, in 1987.²

     Auriol Mary Murray-Gourlay was born on 13 April 1933.¹ She is the daughter of George Ronald Auriol Murray-Gourlay, 26th of Kincraig and Phyllis Rowley.¹ She married Captain Frederick Ernest Herring, son of John Herring, on 5 October 1957.¹
     Her married name became Herring.

     Captain Frederick Ernest Herring is the son of John Herring.¹ He married Auriol Mary Murray-Gourlay, daughter of George Ronald Auriol Murray-Gourlay, 26th of Kincraig and Phyllis Rowley, on 5 October 1957.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Norfolk Regiment.¹

     John Herring died before 1980.

     Sir Francis Ralph Hay Murray was born on 3 March 1908.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Hay Murray and Mabel Umfreville. He married Mauricette Vladimira Marie Reichsgräfin Kuenburg, daughter of Bernhard Reichsgraf Kuenburg, on 10 April 1935.¹ He died in 1983.¹
