     He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ With the BBC.¹ He fought in the Second World War.²

     Anne Hilda Whellens Hall was the daughter of James Barton Hall.² She married Commander George Dumba Villiers, son of Henry Montagu Villiers and Carmen Carlota Elvira Lührsen, on 10 May 1926.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 10 May 1926, her married name became Villiers.

     Major Simon William George Villiers was born in 1927.¹ He is the son of Commander George Dumba Villiers and Anne Hilda Whellens Hall.² He married Patricia de Lacey in 1956.¹
     In 1955 he was seconded to the Federation of Malaya Armed Forces, and was mentioned in despatches.² He was awarded the Order of Ali Manghu Negara of Malaysia.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived in 2003 at 16B Harmony Street, Rusthall, Kent, England^G.¹
