     Margaret Gray was born in 1800.² She was the daughter of Francis Gray, 14th Lord Gray and Mary Anne Johnston.¹ She married John Grant, son of Francis Grant and Anne Oliphant, on 20 June 1820.^1,2 She died on 24 April 1822.¹
     From 20 June 1820, her married name became Grant.¹

     Robert Grant was born on 17 December 1799 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the son of Francis Grant and Anne Oliphant.¹ He died on 17 December 1820 at age 21 at St. Helena, on H.M.S. Vigo.¹

     Margaret Grant, Lady Gray was born on 14 April 1821.¹ She was the daughter of John Grant and Margaret Gray.¹ She married Hon. David Henry Murray, son of David William Murray, 3rd Earl of Mansfield and Frederica Markham, on 10 November 1840.¹ She died on 27 May 1878 at age 57, without issue.¹
     From 10 November 1840, her married name became Murray.¹ She succeeded as the 17th Lady Gray [S., 1445] on 20 February 1869.¹

     Hon. David Henry Murray was born on 9 February 1811.² He was the son of David William Murray, 3rd Earl of Mansfield and Frederica Markham.^1,2 He married Margaret Grant, Lady Gray, daughter of John Grant and Margaret Gray, on 10 November 1840.¹ He died on 5 September 1862 at age 51, without issue.¹

     Jane Anne Gray was the daughter of Francis Gray, 14th Lord Gray and Mary Anne Johnston.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Philip de Ainslie, son of Colonel Charles Philip Ainslie and Mary Ann Atkinson, on 17 April 1834 at Kinfauns, Perthshire, Scotland.^1,2 She and Maj.-Gen. Charles Philip de Ainslie were divorced in 1843.² She died on 4 March 1873.¹
     From 17 April 1834, her married name became Ainslie.¹

     Jennett Guest was born in 1775.¹ She married Thomas Edward Rowcroft.¹ She died on 23 November 1815 at Stockwell Street, Lambeth, London, England.¹
     Her married name became Rowcroft.¹

     Captain Lonsdale Richard Douglas Gray was born on 3 March 1870.¹ He was the son of James Maclaren Smith-Gray and Eveleen Pounden, Lady Gray.¹ He died on 10 June 1900 at age 30 at South Africa^G, while on active service, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 6th Dragoon Guards.¹

     Thora Zelma Grace Gray was born on 22 October 1875.¹ She was the daughter of James Maclaren Smith-Gray and Eveleen Pounden, Lady Gray.¹ She married Edward Lorne Frederick Clough-Taylor, son of Lt.-Col. Edward Harrison Clough-Taylor, on 18 April 1911.¹ She died on 13 April 1966 at age 90.¹
     From 18 April 1911, her married name became Clough-Taylor.¹

     Edward Lorne Frederick Clough-Taylor was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Harrison Clough-Taylor.¹ He married Thora Zelma Grace Gray, daughter of James Maclaren Smith-Gray and Eveleen Pounden, Lady Gray, on 18 April 1911.¹ He died on 14 May 1947.¹
     He was also known as Eric.¹

     Cara Prunella Clough-Taylor was born in 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Lorne Frederick Clough-Taylor and Thora Zelma Grace Gray.¹ She died in December 1999.¹
