     Cecil Pearl Beeching was baptised on 31 October 1891 at Hythe, Kent, England.² She was the daughter of Major Hugh Cecil Westall Beeching and Pearl Evelyn Mainwaring.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Charles Hordern, son of Peter Hordern and Edith Charlotte Fearon, on 25 March 1913.¹ She died on 14 March 1932 at age 40.¹
     From 25 March 1913, her married name became Hordern.¹
